Vodka, Billiards & Beer

The Polish, like all other Europeans, are very proud of their national and local alcohol's. And, unsolicited, will supply you more than enough knowledge about their spirits.

The first night I was with the Halbsguth's, Andrew insisted that I drink 3-4 shots with the light dinner that is common in Europe. Andrew easily threw back twice as much as I, proving the his tolerance. I forgot to mention that he's 6'3/300.

Another night in Poznan, with friends of Mike, I had another incident with a bottle. Mikes friends suggested that instead of drinking pricey beers at the bar that we should buy a bottle of Vodka & a carton of OJ. The mini-mart even supplied us with plastic cups which the three of us (mike was driving) used to consume two 1/2 liters of Smirnoff.
