Shaggin my Jet lags

I was up early this morning, not having got used to the time difference yet. I got up and washed the dishes that had been piled since I got to Quinn's apartment. Then I took a walk in search of some Parisian breakfast. With too many options I ended up just buying un pan (a large baguette) and taking it back to the apartment. Still with no one up, I finished the layout of this site on Quinns PowerBook. I'm waiting to put it up till I get the software to get the pictures off of my camera. I already sent for my first care packkage, it's sad that all I asked for was software, exactly what I came to get away from.

When Quinn got up we toured the church of Montemarte and the surrounding tourist traps. Amaising how the food is twice as much by the church which is about 6 blocks from Quinn's. We stopped by a fancy stationary store, but headed home as the shop was closing for lunch. What a great idea.

As Luke and Frederica, Lukes Girlfrinend, got up around 2PM I was experiencing some more jetlag; quite tired I took a nap. Quinn woke me up with some eggs, rosemary, baby potatoes and gouda. (no cherry tomatoes though...)

I have really trying to constantly interact with as many people as possible wherever I go because I've got everything to gain. I went out tonight with Ben and Stacy Bass, a brother and sister team from the lovely state of Idaho. They've each been in Europe for the last ten or so months and speak enough French and Italian to fit in quite well, I'm very envious. I'm proud that I learned my french 1 thru 10 today!

There has got to be a restaurant for each person in Paris. There are so many to choose from; any type of food you want can be found here. Except Mexican, I have yet to see one. Ben and Rachel choose a packed Italian joint that they were quite familiar with. The quaint restaurant had a chef rolling dough, making, and baking pizza ina brick oven. So I had already decided I was getting the pizza.

We drank two crafs of vino with our pizzas and Rachel's lasagne. And then headed to the Frog and Princess brewery. Great ginger lemon ale.

Finished off the night with a quick dash to the metro to catch the last train home. The last one leaves at 1PM, kind of sucks being like a curfew. But the other option is a 45 minute up-hill walk...
