I'm on another Continent!
I found Quinn at the airport and we headed to Luke's. I'm really
still tripping out that I've just flown so far on a one-way ticket.
I followed Quinn's lead for free subway rides all the way to
his apartment. I was real hesitant paying for the first ride,
but we were by far not the only one's doing it. Just act like
you know what you're doing and keep your head up... welcome to
Paris.
We got to Luke's
Apartment [1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 ]in
Montemarte, Paris. It's small (one bedroom, a living room, a kitchen/office,
and a narrow bathroom) but it's very cool. It's a free place to
crash and get the jetlag out.
The buritto
from Vallarta in S.C. was still good so Quinn and I shared
it.
We went downtown to Shakespeare
and Company (a bookstore) to see a informal play (Tim )
out in front of the store. Then we hit three different bars[1 2 3 4 Rachel, Ken
is headed to Run with the Bulls, 7 ] before heading home. I'm still a little nervous, but I think
that I'm going to like it just fine... (read: there are many beautiful
girls here!)
