Teach English in Blindenmarkt?

I was the "star" of the day in Stephan's English class. The kids asked me all the questions that they had learned in English. These 11-year-olds were amazingly good in English. As the lesson came to an end they asked if I could take a picture for my website. So here you are kids.

A few weeks into my job: [Angelique & Kirsten] [my fan club] [Hilda Steinberg, who created my position at the school.]

After the lesson Stephan's teacher, Hilda, told me that the school had been looking for a native speaker to teach English at the school. And then asked if I were interested in teaching at the school…

But, where to live? What do I have to do? What's the wage? How long? Well, they made me an offer of 100 Schillings per hour, 15 hours a week until Christmas break. I told them that I'd think about it and get back to them.

Later, I was helping Sep cut down some old trees and he asked what I thought about the school's teaching offer.

I told him that I really had wanted to work in the Alps somewhere in a ski resort so that I could improve my snowboarding, learn as much of the language of that country (German, Italian, or French), and make enough money to pay for my stay.

Then I asked what he thought of the school's offer. He said that it was okay and to my luck he sweetened the offer.

He said that I could live as a part of their family in exchange for helping him and his kids with their English exercises and helping with the chores around the house. He said that it would be really good for himself and his kids to hear English everyday and that feeding a sixth mouth wouldn't be much different than feeding five.

Now I'm just so excited. I'm rolling the whole thing over in my head looking for any reasons why I shouldn't take the offer. Not finding any and to make sure that I'm not dreaming this, I ask him again if he's sure about his offer.

He says he's 100% sure… We shake on it… Tomorrow we're moving the top bunk of Stephan's bunk bed into the study so that I'm not sleeping on the couch anymore!

After spending 5 weeks in Austria and teaching about 7 English classess at a local school I also have considered working in Austria as an English teacher. Is there anywhere you know I could get some more info about this?
