Bauhaus Hostel

Because the Bauhaus Hostel in Brugge was my favorite hostel so far, I've decided to tell you about it.

The two old buildings that make up the hostel are connected through random stairways going to many rooms. To get to my first room I had to up some stairs, cross the hallway, and then down some stairs. You may have to ask for directions to your room twice.

They also own an Internet cafe (the computers are all Apple Macs!) and bike rental (full-suspension rides) on the same block. It seem as if they have plans to take over the whole block.

The decorated bar on the ground floor has a great atmosphere to relax and meet some new friends while trying great Belgian beer. (Ask Belgian people about their beers, they love talking about it!)

And to top it off, two brothers and other random family members who run the hostel, have the best food» that I've eaten in europe.

If you're looking for work, they might even hire you like they did for Scott Tully (Melborne) and Megan Waters (Texas)

Comments

Yes, Bauhaus completely rocked. Was probably the best hostel I stayed in during my Europe odyssey this year. Oh, and that blonde bartender chick (if you've been there then you know the one ;) ... mmmm
