Cybertrash

Quinn and others here have started a magazine: KMzero (meaning: the center, as in a city. Shakespeare is located a KMzero Paris...) They've published two issues and are working on their third.

Rémy Tassou is going to be a featured artist this next issue. We, Quinn, Tim, Sherri, and I spent 5 hours in his flat. Remy spends days between two passions are Cybertrash and French Billiards.

Cybertrash, is precisely assembled art made from electronic waste such as diodes , resistors , flourescent tubes , transistors, magnets, cd's. His underground apartment/workshop has millions of components meticulously organized in small jars by type and color. His art is also made very precisely, never showing any glue or traces of how it is held together. He has produced a few hundred that have mostly been sold in Europe. When Rémy's confronted with a dificult choice to make in his art he picks up his cue. French Billards is played with two cue balls and one black ball. The object is to use your cue ball to hit the other cue and then the black ball. Each time that you do this you are awarded a point. Games areee played to an agreed upon number, won by 2. Rémy showed us some marvelous tricks that he could do with a cue and three balls. French billards is something that we need to have in the states.
